Organization, Structure, and Tracking Techniques for Staying Motivated and On Track in the Daily Search Grind
Structure and organization are important parts of job search strategy. Without a structure, you may feel like you are chasing moving targets (because you are). Without organization, you will have to use more effort to find and apply the most optimal tools at the most optimal time. Not staying organized may also result in losing track of key networking contacts or follow up opportunities that could lead to job intros. Ultimately, a lack in structure and organization will result in missed opportunities and eventual job search burnout. I have created a structure that works for me and my clients and I’m excited to share it with you today! If you have another preferred structure feel free to use that instead or as a compliment to mine. There’s no “right” or “wrong” structure in the job search. The best structure is the one that works for you! Most important is that you HAVE structure. Most important is that you STAY ORGANIZED.
In this module I show you how to organize your job search in a way that keeps you free of distractions or discouragement. You’ll receive access to my organizational spreadsheets, schedules, and more – all in the name of staying on track! These organizational tools will also support the structure of your search so that you know exactly what to do, and when.
These simple organization strategies will transform you from “average applicant and networker” into an A-List searcher with increased application and networking response rates.
One word of warning if you have been using your own structure/organizational tools with no success. Sometimes we can overcomplicate things or be too hyper-focused on the structure. If this has been a stumbling block for you in your job search, then I strongly recommend setting your current tools/systems aside and adopting mine. This will give you a new approach to your search and may even refresh things quite a bit!
Let’s get started!
