Take your time to absorb the workshop recordings. Tackle the exercises and use the writing templates available – especially for your resume bullets and summary (the Experience section of your resume). Perfect your resume headline to really make your brand pop. All of the guidance you will receive in this module will serve you well in your job applications.
In this module we will focus on perfecting your resume ONCE. Then, you will only have to do minor resume tailoring for each job application. (Yes, you will have to tailor your resume for every role)! We will round out your resume brand using the insights gathered from your online and offline searching. Only after you’ve reviewed job descriptions, talked with strategic networking contacts and analyzed the market for your target job (modules 1-5), are you ready to write your resume. Research is an important part of the resume writing process because it will inform everything from your keyword placement, to your overall resume branding strategy.
