Contact List Generation & Outreach Strategies
- How to find new contacts who have the potential to bring you into your desired career space
- How to use LinkedIn and other online research platforms to identify high-potential networking contacts
- How to use various LinkedIn search functionalities to double the amount of contacts available for networking conversations
- How to identify low-hanging fruit networking opportunities
- How to organize your contacts and identify networking opportunities using Noelle’s networking roadmap
- Build a list of at least 30 old, existing, and new contacts in the right target space
- How to make outreach to old, existing, and new contacts in order to initiate and secure informational interviews
- How to generate a reliable and authentic message that accurately reflects your desired professional brand and career goals
- The appropriate outreach channels for a variety of contact/situational circumstances
Informational Interview Preparation & Practice
- Work with your coach to construct a list of engaging questions to ask your networking contact in the interview
- Learn how to initiate and close the conversation with ease
- Mock networking conversation with your coach and finalized list of questions/conversation pieces.
Validate, Refine, Networking Follow-Up Opportunities & Perfect
- After your first couple informal conversations, you’ll have a chance to review with your coach to discuss the high points, any feedback, answer questions, and receive an interactive critique
- You will then learn the art of follow up (when to follow up, how, what to say, where to send it, etc.) – both in the short and long term
- Your coach will review your informational interviews and help you refine your approach so you feel comfortable going forward on your own
